Minecraft Modding
Mondays, Feb 10 - Apr 13 | Grades 5 - 7 | 3:15-4:00 pm
Offered in conjunction with Code Kingdoms. this class will give kids the opportunity to make their own Minecraft mods. Code Kingdoms is an online platform which teaches children how to code. Used in 50+ countries, Code Kingdoms has had over 1 million young people using their coding technology. They are a key educational partner of Roblox and have previously partnered with the BBC and Minecraft. They have designed an effective coding environment, with integrated content, to enhance children's digital skills. Their technology guides children from the very first steps of programming in real languages, such as Lua, Java and JavaScript, while also developing their design and production capabilities.
